Why Do We Exist?
- Many companies post jobs for Junior Designers requiring 2-5 years of experience.
How are they supposed to have that if they’re just entering the field? - We live in a time of continuing oppression and inequity.
How can we use our skills and experience to support those working to fight it?
Next Generation Design (NXGD) was founded at the intersection of these two truths.
We offer “pay what you can” design services to community-enhancing organizations, hiring folks early in their design career to give them opportunities that educate, empower, and embolden everyone involved.
Worth knowing: NXGD is especially focused on hiring junior designers who identify as being from minority & marginalized communities, paying above-average rates to help build their generational wealth.
