Two reasons:

How are they supposed to have that if they’re just entering the field? - We live in a time of continuing oppression and inequity.
Why are the people working to make the world more free and equitable so under-resourced?
Next Generation Design (NXGD) was founded at the intersection of these two points.
We offer “pay what you can” design services to community-enhancing organizations, hiring folks early in their design career to give them opportunities that educate, enable, and empower everyone involved.
Worth knowing: NXGD is especially focused on hiring junior designers who identify as being from minority & marginalized communities, paying above-average rates to help build their generational wealth.
